All the bounce. All the crunch. Aglianico is a higher acid variety so it general feels pretty perky and bright, despite sitting at medium weight and being lavished by juicy, red berry fruitiness. Here some additional spice, a little dash of peppery herbal notes, some turned earth and a touch of truffle too. Savoury red with all the chutzpah of chillable reds, and yet does a great turn as a dialled up table wine for impressing people into seeing and drinking something different. Clean as a whistle too.
