Grandis Unearthed Garganega 2023

Straight from central Pokolbin, Hunter Valley, this garganega comes from a single parcel in the Ablington vineyard. Garganega is better known in its N-E Italian home as the main variety in the Soave. Fermented on skins for for almost a year to the day in old French oak. Roast mixed nuts, barley sugar, yellow apple, lime skin, yellow stone fruit, bread dough and honey. Complex to say the least.
