Grape Pirates are a fresh-as outfit, a lovely husband and wife, who are making wine in Orange, New South Wales. Great to see that region gathering a bit of momentum with natural wines... and here we have a cabernet that sits right in that attractive, medium weight, succulent and thirst-quenching zone that feels apt for long lunches in the sun as it does in big glasses sitting fireside. Here be blue fruits, cassis, dried herbs and a bit of woody spice. Easy drinking, class and delicious. Yep.
