Grape Pirates Chardonnay 2024

Wiradjuri country.

From Bex and Aaron, a husband and wife duo based in Orange, New South Wales. Doing very good things, and here some delicious, flavoursome chardonnay, to be sure. Great to see a little pulpy fruitiness and softness to texture here, though you'll find a core of pink graperfruit juice friskiness and saline mineral energy that keeps the wine very perky despite some of the more generous stone fruit, light honeycomb and cinnamon butter elements going on. Indeed, lots of character here, and we're up for it.
