Gvardzelashvili Marani Nino Jghia 2021

Ghvardzelashvili's Marani produces natural, unfiltered traditional Georgian kvevri wine without the addition of sulphites. They are based in the region of Kakheti and the wine is produced very traditionally using a satsnakheli to crush the grapes and it is fermented and aged in kvevris buried underground.

Made from 100% zhgia, which is a very rare Kakhetian grape variety that has survived in their region. They are the first producer in Georgia to bottle this rare grape variety. This wine is earthy with notes of cherry, redcurrants and spice.
