100% Malvasia. Malvasia aka malmsey aka malvasia cãndida aka malvasia branca de São Jorge, to be more accurate, is Henriques first grape to be harvested each year, and grows exclusively in the south of the island at a lower altitude of 150-200 metres. It is used to make the island's sweetest, richest style, which still exhibits the delicious mouth-watering acidity of great Madeira. On the palate you will find rich and powerful notes of coffee and caramel lifted with orange peel and vanilla.
