Henriques & Henriques Rainwater Medium Dry 3 Years Old NV 500ml

According to legend, "Rainwater" was the result of two pipes of Madeira inadvertently left exposed to the elements while awaiting shipment. The adulterated/diluted wine was apparently well received and thus a style was born. Henriques & Henriques take on Rainwater uses 90% Tinta Negra Mole and 10% Verdelho and uses the heating process estufa before ageing in oak for 3 years. Vibrant and elegant, there are notes of walnut, orange peal and a finish of bitter lemon, a wonderful aperitif, paired with a light dessert or for use in cocktails.
