Kinoshita Shuzo was founded in the town of Kumihama, Kyoto prefecture in 1842. The present 11th generation Kuramoto (Brewery Owner) is Yoshito Kinoshita and together with Toji (Master Brewer) Philip Harper; established the exceptional Tamagawa sake range.The name Tamagawa, or “Jewel River,” pays tribute both to this waterway and to the deep respect for water that runs through Shinto tradition and the brewery’s own philosophy.
The Tamagawa Time Machine is brewed to a recipe from 1712. Utilising Kita Nishiki rice this sake shows a beautifully sweet yet not cloying style. Notes of honey, rice bran and tea. Flavours reminisent of savoury creme caramel with a long elegant finish. - Black Market Sake

HANDLING: Once opened this sake will last well for at least 6 - 8 weeks, ideally in a refrigerator.
