The grape from the Italian alps here sourced from Heathcote, Victoria.

It’s got that alpine herb thing going on, going strong. Sour cherries, raspberry, aniseed and faint eucalyptus too. Gentle in texture but has a light crispness in its mix. Good trail of spice lingering after each sip too. A nice, lightweight gravelly swish of tannin shows up. Good energy all up, a lighter weight yet dark looking wine, with good DNA of the variety in its more washy, fresh frame. Good drinking ensues. - The Wine Front
