From Huon Valley from vines planted around 40 years ago and grown unirrigated. Wild fermented, old oak matured.
Bright, supple and pretty pinot noir. Rose water, rose petal, sweet cherry, touches of just-ripe raspberry, a lick of sweet spice, a lick of milk chocolate in there too, with just the faintest dose of sweet spice. Quite a fruity number, quite glossy and you could say a little sweet all up – the wine perhaps missing a little x-factor of tannin profile and authority of acidity, despite the inherent freshness. As a bistro, by the glass offering, you’d be all in for one. - The Wine Front
