Here’s a very specific style. Golden syrup, peppermint, dried apricot, All-Bran, marmalade (thick cut), almond paste. There’s lots going on here, and while it’s sweet, it also has lots of saline tang and savoury bits built in, acid cuts through, and the finish is long nutty and sweet with marzipan and orange blossom.
