What. A. Wine. It’s all salinity and brine, nutty savouriness, but so electric in freshness it feels more seaside white than inland, sub-alpine white. Green apple at the cusp of ripe, tonic water, hazelnut savouriness, green pistachio, the hallmark of Jura in fino sherry things going on too. A little glossy intensity goes into the mix too. It’s got big impact in terms of personality but a succulence and lift alongside. Salty, compact, textural nature. Yum. The tickle of brine to finish, yes thanks. Incredible texture in its smooth roll and then a little chalky grip. Complexity is a by-word, drinkability too. Just damn outrageously good. - www.winefront.com
