Les Fruits Lolo Sauvignon Blanc 2023

100% barrel fermented and aged Sauvignon Blanc from three separate organically farmed sites across the hills. Direct pressed and barrel fermented just like the Chardonnay’s. Bottled unfined unfiltered after 10 months in old French oak. Complex, showing the true noble nature of this grape.  Pale yellow straw with a hint of green to it. Hardly a varietal bone to it. The nose offers dried flowers, lemon, grapefruit and guava with a layer of old oak and lees spice. The palate is firmly in the lemon and grapefruit citrus spectrum with juicy fruit from start to finish thanks to the tangy acidity. A little reduction adds a distinct savoury briny note.
