Luta Wines Vale Chenin Blanc 2022

From Upper Moutere, chenin blanc off 30 year old vines, organic farmed. Spends time on lees for a year or so. From the producer also known as Unkel. 

Golden Delicious Apple colour, and flavours of such too. So too sea spray, faint gingery notes, lime, preserved and fresh, a touch of marshmallow, but subtle under that salinity and chalkiness of texture, plus some skinsy grip of thick apple skin there too. Textural, complex, medium weight white wine. Wonderful, really. - The Wine Front
