Mal Bien Mexicano by Victor & Emanuel Ramos

This Mexicano mezcal is made from Agave Americana. Victor Ramos and his son Emanuel are third- and fourth-generation mezcal makers in Miahuatlán, Oaxaca. In this region, “Mexicano” refers to this specific type of agave.

The agave is cooked underground for six days using wood, then rested, crushed, and fermented in wooden tanks. It is distilled twice in copper stills.

Mal Bien Mexicano is extraordinary smooth and displays light vegetal notes, sweet wine, pine, bell pepper, and light smoke.
