Peramangk and Kaurna Country

Pinot noir grown on unirrigated, organic farmed vines in a beautiful pocket of the Forest Range parish of the Adelaide Hills. Nature is nurtured on the farm, pasture and vegetable gardens run with the vines, so too native bush and native animal pathways (vines ripped up for it) through the site. No additions at all in the wine, no new oak seasoning, amphora here, a very clear example of seasons follows. 

Electric wine, scinitillating with saline acidity and general crushed slate minerality. Pumice stone texture on the fringes of juicy, tart cherry, just-ripe mulberry with blood orange citrus and hazy, bergamot and elderflower tea characters in tow. A mushroom note, tomato leaf, light weight but with that sense of pure, alpine rain washed over everything. Nourishing wine that sits out of  the box. - WineFront.com.au
