A cool, well-watered growing season, memorable for harvesting with green grass underfoot. Juno comes from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc vines adjacent to one another on an eastern facing slope with little topsoil over clay, siltstone and exposed quartz seams. This is one of our steeper, cooler sites, and the mild growing season has created a delicate wine with pure, crystalline fruit and subtle herbaceous overtones. A balanced and fine wine for the autumn months ahead redolent with flavours of flint, citrus, and herbs. - Manon
