Mas Coutelou Kina Coutelou Blanc
Mas Coutelou Kina Coutelou Blanc
This crazy elixir is part wine/herb/tonic and it lights up in the mouth in a major way - I can't really describe it other than to say it's delicious and I will be keeping a bottle to take home and pour over ice when I need some inspiration or motivation! - Andrew Guard, importer.
Our kinas are made from natural wine. We macerate plants (gentian, red quina, sweet and bitter orange peel, kola nuts, etc.) in wine brandy and in wine used as an aperitif. The breeding, in Soléra, takes place in barrels of cognac or Armagnac freshly emptied. To avoid having to add industrial sugar, we use wines that have not quite finished their fermentation and supplement if necessary with mistelles of our domain. - Mas Coutelou
