An hour north of Rome, 80 nuns tend a small farm organically, producing a small handful of wines, of which this is one. No jokes. 50/50 blend of sangiovese and ciliegiolo. Pale, almost translucent with a nose full of berries, herbs and citrus. Light and compulsively drinkable, but with an old soul, it's a wine of juxtaposition and pure pleasure.
