The Mukai Shuzo brewery began in 1754. Kuniko Mukai became one of the first female brewers in Japan and has propagated rare "100 year old" yeast from the Tokyo Agricultural University where she studied.
Mukai Shuzo Natsu no Omoide has rich umame character, subtle notes of sweet and sour apricot as well as some bitter caramel undertones.
