This beautifully pink sake from one of Japan's only female Toja (master brewer) Mukai Shuzō is in a league of it's own. Made predominantly with an ancient strain of red rice which is cultivated for use in traditional celebrations in provincial villages. Well balanced sweetness and acidity Ine Mankai has cherry, pomegranate and vanilla aromas with umami rich palate making it a perfect match for a wide range of foods. A true long time favourite down here at P&V!
HANDLING: Once opened this Mukai 'Ine Mankai' will last well for at least 15 - 20 weeks. It can be kept in a cool place or a refrigerator.
