NODO Tequilana Reposado is carefully crafted with a focus on barrel selection to create a well-aged agave spirit. It is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels from La Crema winery that previously held Chardonnay.
The tequila is fermented in stainless steel tanks using wild yeast, then distilled in a mix of stainless steel and copper pot stills. Deep well water gives it a rich mineral character. Aging in former Chardonnay barrels creates a unique flavor compared to the more common bourbon barrels.
It has aromas of nuts, cloves, and oak. On the palate, it is smooth and velvety, with flavours of cooked agave, caramel sweetness, vanilla, and light baking spices.
