Occhipinti BB Bombolieri 2021

Part of the single vineyard series from Arianna Occhipinti. The soils of the Bombolieri vineyard are thin, varying from deep chestnut to white in colour. Not far beneath the surface is limestone and clay. Limestone seems to enliven grape vines, producing electric acidity when the fruit is coaxed gently from grape to wine. Bombolieri is a silken, energetic frappato with layers of flavour to distract and delight.  2021 // 750ml // ABV 13%
