One of the gems in the thriving Tassie whisky scene strikes gold with this release, aged in 100-litre ex-Bourbon casks. SUPER fruit-forward – think toasted coconut, caramelised pineapple and ripe bananas – underpinned by vanilla, molasses and grilled nuts. Spice comes through on the pleasant finish, with a whisper of toasty oak and toffee apple. Glorious stuff.
