Papadopoulos Viticulture SRTK Assyrtiko 2025

This is assyrtiko from Rapsani, Thessaly, farmed organically. A bit of residual sugar here, so opting into an off-dry style. 

This hits the same way off dry riesling or plusher, seaside white wines work. It’s saline and briny but has a little slickness, a faint honey butter character but with bristling acidity countering. Hazy red apple juice, green pineapple, aloe and green capsicum going on. It’s wonderfully fresh, shows off a little nutty savouriness, delivers a satisfying experience. - The Wine Front
