Pennyweight Beechworth Gamay 2023

Ah, Beechworth is so very suited to gamay, and this is a fine example of why. On the nose, it’s bright and snappy, red currants, bullet lollies with a slightly herbaceous undercurrent. Much the same on the palate, high-toned, vivacious and sharp with a eucalypt edge and that distinctive salinity that keeps it so compelling. Oh yes, oh yes
