Olek Bondonio Barbaresco Roncagliette 2022

Bright red fruit begins this wild journey. Incredibly juicy and alive, young, brimming with energy. Something candied almost, Red Frogs even? Tannins are softer still, very present, the palate in line with the overwhelmingly fragrant bouquet that entices straight away. Such clarity and brightness. A marvel. Ready now, but time will reward the patient.

Incredibly elegant, deep and perfumed. Fine tannin indeed but this is Olek's pedigree. Where Starderi is a touch lighter, Roncagliette has more structure and power as per usual.
