Moussamoussettes 2025 tastes a little more like you would expect a pink pet-nat to taste than this wine usually does. Moussamoussettes is usually bone dry but the 2025 vintage has a tiny amount of residual sugar (perhaps around 5g) and so is slightly sweeter than usual. It definitely suits the colour! It is 70% Grolleau Noir and 30% Cabernet Franc, both of which are directly pressed, plus they added a few buckets of Merlot added to boost its colour.
Fermentation and aging prior to bottling, when it still had about 15g of residual sugar, was in a stainless steel tank.
The bubbles are fine and the wine is not disgorged so there is a small deposit at the bottom of the bottle. - Living Wines, importer
