The one everyone wants. Giuseppe 'Beppe' Rinaldi, nicknamed il citrico, one of Piedmont’s most vaunted producers was known for his tireless adherence to tradition. He farmed organically and fermented with the indigenous yeasts found in the ancient tini passed on by his father and grandfather and without temperature control. Most importantly, he was defiant in ensuring his Barolos were produced the ancient way, as blends – not from single vineyards. Having passed away in 2018 his legacy is safely in the hands of his daughters, Marta and Carlotta and these wines are some of the last he had a hand in creating.
