Santamaria Barolo Capalot 2019

Sophisticated wine, showing an intensely beautiful palate, and all the dryness from the tannin on the finish. The nose is persistent and with spices, florals, and hints of licorice. The aging process has done this wine a fine service and everything is in check now, or you could cellar for many years easily.

This small family property is nestled in the frazione of Santa Maria in the commune of La Morra. Very small production, very old school. Long maceration and old Botti (Big Barrel).
