R. D'meure Estate Pinot Gris 2022

The d’meure vineyard, on the D’Entrecasteaux Channel of Tasmania, has produced some of Australia's most sought after and legendary natural wines. Now in the hands of Dirk Meure's kin, winemaker Rory Duggan, the vineyard is again producing outstanding wine. This is pinot gris that sees time under flor, ending up like a textural, more complex version of itself. It is very savoury, perfumed, loaded with red berry and pear fruit scents and flavours, seaspray and nutty savouriness in the mix, it is refreshing, laced with minerality, and generally just down right amazing to drink. Try it chilled, let it come up to room temp to see it fly.
