Rall Wines Grenache Blanc 2023

Donovan Rall is the man behind the wine. This is a blend of syrah, grenache, carignan and some cinsault. All from Swartland. A cult-ish producer from RSA.

Sappy, savoury red, medium weight, or just shy of it, very fresh feeling, red and black fruited, dusted liberally with lively dried herb and peppery spices. Washes over the palate beautifully, finishes fresh and with a building, chalky pucker of tannins. Wonderfully savoury, attractive, personality filled and delicious red. - The Wine Front
