Romain le Bars Le Clau Blanc 2023

Romain le Bars purchased a 1.2 hectare parcel of vines in Tavel and vinified his first vintage in his garage. Today his vineyard holdings consist of a little over 9 hectares in Tavel, Lirac and surrounds, and a winery on the outskirts of Tavel.

La Clau Blanc is 100% direct pressed ugni blanc from 60 year old vines. Textured stone fruit. Saline, apricot pit. Luscious with a precise mineral line. With great length, it opens wonderfully and would be a welcome accompaniment to the table. - Liz Carey, importer
