... I do appreciate the people who put their heart and soul into their endeavours, so I’m considered and mindful when that’s the case. Big company commercial dross, less so. Where there is intent and passion, I’m all ears.  This comes from the Tea Tree Hill Vineyard, gets 10% whole bunch, 28 days on skins, then raised in a five year old 500L cask.

First off, it’s an excellent thing to drink. It has energy and a distinct character. Raspberry, redcurrant jelly, roast red capsicum, semi-dried tomato, a mint, thyme and rose oil perfume. It’s light-bodied, sappy and crunchy, some ironstone character to it, an emery board grip to tannin, herbal things mix with sweet red fruits giving it a Cabernet Franc freshness, and the finish is sweet and tangy, offering excellent length.
