The Spangled Drongo is an Old World woodland bird and is the only Drongo to be found in Australia. It’s an acrobatic flyer and a fearsome protector known to take on birds of prey twice its size to protect its young. It’s so fearsome that other bird species nest near Drongos to gain this same protection.
