This blend has become a regular in the line up because it was received so well in 2023. Plus it’s a fave of ours.
The carbonic portion of syrah was picked a little early and locked down for nearly a month. It provides a really vibrant red fruit/candy aroma that helps make the wine very approachable.
The pinot noir was concentrated and we were able to extract some depth of flavour and very nice structure from this component. The whole berry syrah was treated very gently which added some texture and provided some varietal syrah spice.
Medium bodied but with some ageability too. You could even take the edge off with 20 mins in the fridge. - Stoke Wines
