Refermented and aged base wine. The label is the original from the old, old owners of the estate, one of WA’s first sparkling wines at that. All chenin blanc. Mostly 2023 vintage here, with around 20% 2024.

Flinty elements, savoury notes, ginger biscuit, hazelnut, touch of resinous walnut with dried apple, dried citrus and some peachy fruit characters. A little wild, but has refreshment factor and briny minerality in the mix. Good. - The Wine Front
