Off Heathcote soils a blend of roussanne and vermentino by another name. The latter gets a very long skin ferment/maceration for its commitment to the blend.

A textural feast! Grip and swivel, pucker and drive. Fragrant too with its lemon blossom, gingery notes and native pepperberry piquancy. Flavours more genial in tonic water, lime and cucumber met by that saline snip and laced, slate-y minerality. A good deal of chomp to close, and long does that go.
