Valdisole Utopia 2023

All moscato nero, produced as a kind of rosato, but with texture, and lots of tannin. Ten days macerated and yet the colour is so fine and light ruby. We had a 'remember what L'Anglore Tavel used to look like?!' moment with this wine... 

This is for real. Tannin like thunderous nebbiolo, levity of rose hip tea, tart cherry notes, woody spices and nutty savouriness and a pumice stone, wonderfully herbal finish. Sheesh. It's quite the experience here, epic in its conveyance of proper rosato, and so delicious and refreshing to drink too. Yep and yep and yep. - The Wine Front
