Vigneti Vallorani LeFric Bianco 2023

A blend of malvasia and trebbiano from vines that are 40 and 58 years old respectively. The grapes see ten days of skin maceration and then ten months on lees in amphora. Ironically, Lefric is a slang word for "freak" in local dialect, but this wine is anything but. It's complex and refreshingly crisp. Dried fruit, spices, fresh apple and a mineral zing to finish. Delightful in so many ways.
