Vins Du Liban Red 2022

A blend of cabernet, tempranillo and the local, Lebanese variety mariami. Aussie-born, Lebanon-based Eddie Chami, winemaker, visited P&V (he is such a gem) and we were delighted to hear that his high altitude grape growing and winemaking is going full steam ahead. He has delighted us over the years with fine, elegant wines and this is no different. Pure, dark plum married to alpine herb characters, dusty spice, some faint game meat notes, all in a juicy, plush frame. Slurpy-textured wines like this do both speeds of chilled and room temperature so well. It is straight up delicious.
