Barossa cabernet by way of a Brisbane based winemaker who has some space in the Barossa now to make his quarry happen.

Choc-liquorice, cola, granite, dried Italian herbs, game meat, cassis, green olive. Lots on. Heaps of grip and gravelly texture. All the purple, all the chicory and sarsaparilla. Substantial wine, done with balance, power, concentration, layers of flavour and firm ripples of corduroy tannin. Massive flavour and presence with beautiful balance in its heft. Power, softness, slick, richness, length. Fun, juicy and bright. All of this is super delicious in its way. - The Wine Front
