Gris is obviously the anticipated release. The fruit here came from the organic farmed Deanery Vineyard and was left on skins for five days. It’s picked a little lean for skin contact gris, but hey, here we go.

Wicked drinking here. Piquant and spicy, tart and trim, a sheath of grippy, silty tannin on pink grapefruit sizzle with nashi pear, tonic water, faint wild raspberry and tonic water characters. Vividly fresh, decidedly interesting, kind of more textural rosé in its style, in a way, but is kin with some pleasingly bitter vermouthy things too. I loved drinking this.
