Dig this. Quite old-world in style, in a good way. The nose is all beeswax, cashew butter, lemon curd and ripe stone fruit. Richly textured on the mid palate; creamy, supple and lithe. Has some of that classic roussanne oiliness but with enough acid to back it up. Definitely a wine best enjoyed with food. Instinct says something classic and creamy like Chicken Fricassee but honestly it's not half bad with the burrito I'm eating right now, so hey, maybe get adventurous with it.
